What is IoT?

What exactly is the Internet of Things (aka IoT, Internet der Dinge, Internet of Everything, M2M)”?

Here at the iHomeLab, we were asked this question very often in the past.

Even for us, being the Swiss competence centre for IoT in buildings, giving a brief answer was not easy. Even after having done research on sensors and networked devices for more than 15 years. There are just too many application areas and scenarios for networked objects.

To make people understand, what IoT is all about, we have together with the Alexandra Institute from Denmark, translated  and issued a German Version of the so called “IoT Comicbook”, originally issued in English. The Comicbook explains based on 25 Stories and Scenarios, how the Internet of Things can help to make our lives easier in the future.

Take a look inside and enjoy!
